Els usuaris poden encadenar efectes junts tant per a imatges com per a fitxers de vídeo, i tenen la capacitat de desar filtres personalitzats creats barrejant i aparellant diferents filtres i connectors. A més, els usuaris poden optar per incorporar so del vídeo original de la font als seus vídeos editats. L'aplicació també ofereix la funcionalitat de girar vídeos entre orientacions de retrat i paisatge.

To achieve this aim Kandid simulates evolution using sexual reproduction and populations. But there is no fitness function in side the program. Only the user decide which images are interesting.

These patches are designed to demonstrate techniques in Pure Data how to handle short audiovisual snippets with the maximum of control. For easier understanding they are organized in a ascending level of complexity. Most of them are making use of the Graphics Environment for Multimedia (GEM) library to display the moving images, but other ways to control video players from within Pd are also demonstrated.

Compressure is a tool for video and image creation that hacks the time-dependence properties of video compression codecs (H.264, MPEG-4, etc.) by manipulating the frame timeline to break motion-estimation for new forms of movement. In practice, we do this in a a few distinct steps: transcode source videos into specified format slice source videos into "superframes," or equal-sized chunks of adjacent frames compose slices/superframes such that the output repeats or skips frames in the original, by navigating through a timeline of superframes forwards or backwards.
